Are you ready to join in on a twitter party that will showcase your blog? We hosted a Scavenger Hunt Twitter Party back in January 2012 and it was a huge success – so we’re doing it again and would love to have you join us!
Be sure to get in on the action and make plans to join us for Blogelina’s next Twitter Party on Tuesday, October 30th, from 10-11:00pm EST! Keep reading for more details on how your blog can be featured AND how you can win some great stuff!
How to Have YOUR Blog Featured
During the party, we will choose 6 blogs to showcase and feature as a part of our “scavenger hunt”. Party participants will need to visit each of the 6 blogs and locate the Blogelina blogging button to be eligible to win one of the great prizes we’ll be featuring!
Submit Your Blog As A Feature Stop:
- Grab the Blogelina button code and put it in a prominent place on your blog – either in the sidebar or somewhere above the fold.

(NOTE: Once you paste this code in your html widget, you will need to manual replace all of the quotation marks with new ones) - Complete this quick application form.

- RSVP with your Twitter handle in the comments below – please enter your link as http://twitter.com/YOURTWITTERID so it easier for everyone to click and follow each other
- Follow @Blogelina on Twitter
- Apply to have your blog featured as a stop along our Scavenger Hunt during the party (we’ll choose 6 blogs from the entrants).
- Mark your calendar for October 30th, 10-11:00pm EST
- That night, log into Tweet Grid or Tweet Chat, following the hashtag #blogelina (if you’ve never joined a Twitter party before, it might be a good idea to check out those sites before the party date – also, check out How to Attend a Twitter Party)

Hm, I tried to add your button to my blog but nothing happened. {it’s the 5th one down on my side bar} It Says Blogelina, and then an empty black box. I use a free wordpress blog at the moment. If I get money coming in, I’ll upgrade to a paid one.

Candi – the code is correct above – sometimes those quotation marks get in the way, though. I would try going into your sidebar widget and manually replace all the “‘s in the code. Let me know if that doesn’t work!

I also tried adding the code posted above and it only showed the name Blogelina but found an image on Koupon Krazed and pulled the html code from there and did some editing and it finally showed up on my blog. Here’s the code I used: I’ve done a little bit of html coding to create my own website yrs ago. I think the double quotations was the reason it wasn’t working. I hope this is the right button.
